The voice acting really sells this. Fantastic work.

utterly fascinating use of 2d and 3d space. the music is a tad too MIDI for my personal tastes, but the story being told here is quite a delightful blend of horrific and romantic.

your animation looks pretty solid for what you are trying to accomplish, there are some moments that you spend too much time on (like some walking scenes) and others where you don't spend enough (like the symbiote monster throwing). Your sound effects could use a lot of help as they all sound like they're coming from completely different spaces. For example: I liked that you tried to use some foley for little cloth movements (like the shrug) but the sound was more dramatic than the motion itself. as for your music, it stops and goes from time to time. Mind you that's not a bad thing, as you can use stopped music for effect (like when you used that smash sound) but nothing sounds more jarring than a song that fades out in the middle, it tends to feel wrong. I really hope you do more though. you've got a solid start here.

Thanks so much for your thoughts! I will definitely keep these in mind for future projects! My audio editing skills need some serious work but these tips will definitely give me a starting point!

this has got a very animal crossing feel to it in a good way. Some of your walk animations could use adjustment in speed, but I'm really digging the motif and style of this. The music feels oddly distant, and there are a few moments of empty space that last a bit too long for what you're trying to accomplish emotionally. but for a class, this is excellent work. I'd love to see more segments in this style.

Thank you so much for such an in depth review! The feedback is very much appriciated!

I'm so curious where the audio is from. this looks fantastic, nice work!

Thank you, and it's from the animated series Sherlock Hound! (Apparently, it's the 5th episode, though I thought to believe it was the 2nd in the chronology.)

Still love this joke came from the fact that back when cable was a big thing, 24 was disney and 25 was cartoon network.

Boy I would really love music to be added to this!

I actually had Man of Steel OST - Hans Zimmer playing on YouTube the entire time I was making this. That sound track always gets my pumped.

The color work is phenomenal and some of the animation is fantastic. I do feel the credits stretch a bit long but you have something great here. You've definitely left an impression with me.

The visuals are quite nice. The setting is particularly well developed and engrossing. That being said, the voice acting needs a lot of work in some areas. It definitely sounds like many of your performers are not able to belt out a lot of their lines (possibly because their recording situation is very restricted), and other times they need a pop filter. Great work otherwise! I love your characters and I'm definitely going to go back and see more.

that was really cute. I was impressed how it almost looked like claymation. Your sound design was a tad muddy. Could use a little more love in the mix. you should all be thrilled with your work.
